Vladan Micić dives into classical mythology and legend, looking for inspiration for these very bulging and slightly decorated drawings, of which only one is printed from each plate. A wealth of figures: warriors, maidens, animals and cabalistic signs are drowned in the surface of the paper. Lines and tone are perfectly balanced, mixing with each other and giving the effect of old cut metal plates with a muted glow. Such luxurious hedonism is strangely. The painter puts his thought and sensibility into the absoluteness of transformation, from lofty worldly aspirations all the way to brilliant depictions of cosmic unknowns. Some canvases are dominated by deep blue tones, which with their weight overpower the "dreamy cosmic symphony" in which "the comets rose from sweetness-trasé fingers" like a Spirit playing with an artist. The painter often bases his recognition on timeless events, searching for a lost essence in some long-gone times. On many canvases, the painter escapes into a dream, in which, arriving "blown away into Oblivion", he searches for eternity in the cosmic spaces. Giving a timeless tone to earthly concepts such as: the beauty of an unmown meadow and the strength of a forest sorceress.
